Your business, built your way.
Your community, built in.

The Populace Collective offers chair and private studio rentals for independent beauty and wellness professionals in Stillwater, Minnesota. Here, you have the freedom to shape a business that reflects your vision, supported by an elevated environment and a community that believes independence should never mean building alone.

A Better Way to Work

Because the traditional salon model was never built for everyone.

Running your own business can be deeply rewarding, but high overhead, staffing demands, inconsistent support, and the pressure to manage everything alone can quickly lead to burnout. Too many talented professionals step away from the work they love, not because they lack skill or passion, but because the system was not designed to help them thrive.

We knew there had to be a better way. The Populace gives independent professionals the autonomy to set their own hours, pricing, services, and client policies within a beautifully maintained space where collaboration, creativity, and long-term growth are encouraged.
